Hello!

My name is Karla, a.ka. Scrappynut, (as named by the Snoopynut). For those who don't know me, I arrived into this wonderful world at Bolling Air Force Base in Washington, D.C. My father, at the time of my birth, was in school for the Air Force in Amarillo, Texas.

I am a bonified military brat -- my Dad was in the Air Force for 21 years.  I've lived in New Hampshire, Florida, Maine, England, and Virginia.  I live in Virginia now and have since July 1973. I have a wonderful husband of 27 years, Mitch, and a beautiful 25-year-old daughter, Melissa, who is engaged to Kevin.
